The Emmott Foundation
View ProfileGrants support sixth-form pupils to stay at their current fee-paying school when parents or guardians face sudden financial hardship due to an unexpected family crisis.
The Trustees offer grants to help students in years 11–13 remain at their current fee-paying school after sudden family income loss, usually alongside substantial financial support from the school.
The Andrew Reed Foundation supports children who have lost the support of one or both parents by offering a Foundation bursary to attend Reed’s School. Entry points are Year 7 and Year 9 for boys and Year 12( for boys and girls). Priority is given to students where there is a need to board.
Wispers Trust, founded after Wispers School’s closure, funds pupils in Years 10–13 whose education is at risk due to parents’ financial hardship. Applicants must live in Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey, or London.
The charity provides termly grants of up to £1,500 for children attending UK fee paying junior and secondary schools.
The Naval Children’s Charity supports the wellbeing and development of children and young people under 25 whose parents serve or have served in the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, QARNNS, WRNS, or Royal Fleet Auxiliary.
LVS Ascot is an independent co-educational day and boarding school for ages 4–19, set on a 26-acre Berkshire campus. It inspires students to exceed expectations and is conveniently near London.
Grants for any chld over the age of 5 years of parents of a British citizen and in need of financial assistance to obtain a British type education either overseas or in the UK whilst the family is living/working overseas.
Greenwich Hospital supports the Royal Navy community by funding education, welfare, and urgent needs. As the largest funder for Royal Navy and Royal Marines families, it drives positive change and empowerment.
