Transformational bursaries for children who have lost the support of a parent. The Andrew Reed Foundation was founded in 1813 as the London Orphan Asylum.

Our Founder, Dr Andrew Reed, believed that all children, regardless of circumstance, deserved the right to access the transformative effects of a good education in order to break the cycle of disadvantage. Today, ten per cent of the students who attend Reed’s School are provided with partially or fully-funded places by the Foundation and its supporters.

A Foundation place at Reed’s is not merely a financial package; it incorporates the specialist pastoral support that children who have lost parents need to survive and thrive. The school employs a team of counsellors, including a specialist grief counsellor and a behavioural specialist.
